As part of the 10th anniversary of the Pompidou-Metz Centre, Susanna Fritscher, an Austrian artist born in 1960 working in France, is invited to settle in the heart of the white architecture of Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines. In Gallery 3, she created an installation playing on the invisible airflows of the building and on natural light. Long silicone threads arranged in space oscillate slightly under the effect of drafts and transform the gallery into a sensitive and dreamlike landscape as much as a giant musical instrument.
